Setting up and connecting Viber for Desktop is easy – get started now by going to and clicking on Download for Windows or Download for Mac. Save the file and relaunch Viber and you should find it works again. To do this click on the Apple logo in the top left of your desktop and select System Preferences, Security & Privacy and then select the Firewall tab and make sure it is switched off. You’ll need to keep your phone nearby to complete the setup of Viber.
