Users have effectively tweaked every aspect of Skyrim's gameplay throughout the years and kept the game relevant long after it stopped receiving official content patches from Bethesda. Released in 2011, Skyrim is widely praised as one of the best video games of all time and stood the test of time partly thanks to its impressive library of player-created content. He is particularly famous for creating an infamous Thomas the Tank Engine mod for Skyrim, wherein every dragon in the game was replaced with a comically terrifying, flying, flame-spitting version of the titular tank locomotive from Thomas & Friends. The developer was already a celebrated and somewhat notorious figure within the game's online community, with Trainwiz equally known for his deep love of trains and his work on dozens of locomotive-themed mods for Bethesda's Fallout and The Elder Scrolls games. This wasn't the first time Trainwiz created a surreal replacement for Skyrim's winged beasts.
